Eyal Rich is a leading composer, orchestrator and musicologist from Israel, a ground-breaking musician who incorporates live orchestral sounds and digital ones to create a new and fresh sound for both classical and contemporary music.
A classically-trained pianist, Eyal has performed throughout the country in classical concerts, as well as with top Israeli artists in the pop industry. Although an expert in classical music, Eyal was always fascinated with the world of sound and the electronic aspects of music and has perfected his abilities of combining the two.
A Resident Composer and Arranger for the Israeli National Andalusian Orchestra, Eyal has the opportunity of putting his many skills to work, arranging music from the Baroque Period to the 21st century. He has also worked with Israel’s top orchestras, such as the Ra’anana Symphonette Orchestra, Carter Symphony Orchetrsa, Israei Moshavot Chamber Orchestra and others, as well as the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra and others. He has also produced and arranged music for various international cantors and singers such as Chaim Adler, Simon Cohen, Israel Rand, Ishay Ribo, David Daor and Dudu Fisher and ethnic musicians such as Idan Toledano and Yagel Haroush.
A Graduate from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, Eyal has an M.A with Honors in Composition and Conducting. He also serves as the Head of the Singer-Songwriter Department in the BPM College for Music in Tel Aviv.
These days Eyal is launching a new musical project in collaboration with international conductor, Roit Feldenkreis, which will incorporate the different aspects of sound and style of the different genres, while creating music that interacts the retro with the new.
